Tektronix 4050

Description

The Tektronix 4051 and successors 4052 and 4054 were computers originally introduced in 1975. What set them apart from its peers was the storage tube display. A type of CRT monitor in which the entire screen state persists until the entire screen is cleared, which saved on RAM usually required to store video memory. The screen allowed for a resolution of up to 1024x780 pixels which was much more detailed than contemporary home computers.
